Former Senator representing Adamawa North, Elisha Abbo, has surrendered to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja following allegations that he raped a 13-year-old secondary school student. The parents of the victim told journalists that Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (Binani), a former governorship candidate in Adamawa State, visited their home to plead with them not to disclose the scandal.
