PDP gubernatorial candidate in Oyo state Engr Seyi Makinde has said that he has sufficiently explained his absence at the BBC organised debate last Friday.
In a release signed by his campaign spokesman, Prince Dotun Oyelade, Engr Makinde, said that apart from having a predated appointment with the people of Ibadan Southeast which had been well publicised and which clashed with the debate, he had since featured on a Radio Nigeria gubernatorial forum where the APC candidate did not show up and an hour long live radio programme on Fresh FM.
According to him, the APC should stop pursuing the silly habit of choosing his priority for him.
He said that the people of Oyo state know his worth and he will not shy away from any debate that will add value to the progress of our dear state.
