Chief Mrs. Olayinka Mutiat Ladoja, the former First Lady of Oyo State, has mourned the passing of Chief Michael Koleosho, describing it as a significant loss to both Oyo State and Nigeria. Ladoja expressed her condolences during a visit to Chief Koleosho’s family at his Ibadan residence. The late Chief Koleosho was a former Secretary to the Oyo State Government.
In her heartfelt message, which she wrote in the condolence register, Ladoja said, “What a great loss to Oyo State and Nigeria in general for your demise. May Almighty God give your family the fortitude to bear the loss. Adieu our great leader.”
Reflecting on Koleosho’s life, Ladoja praised his humility, God-fearing nature, generosity, and astute political skills, noting that his absence would be deeply felt.
Mrs. Yemisi Bakie, the eldest child and first daughter and Mr. Tayo Koleosho first Son of the deceased, received Ladoja on behalf of the family and they expressed their gratitude for the visit and also prayed for God’s blessings on Ladoja and her entourage.
Chief Michael Koleosho, a respected politician and renowned businessman, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 86.
