In a show of appreciation for his support, about eight newly recruited officers of Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA), on Monday, stormed the Bashorun home of Oyo state’s deputy governor, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, in Ibadan on Monday.
The kishi born marshals were among the 500 newly-recruited OYRTMA officers who passed out at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Iseyin, Oyo State, after a two weeks successful training.
The beneficiaries expressed their deep gratitude to the Deputy Governor for his unwavering support through out the selection process and for counting them worthy of the opportunity among thousands of people.
They also prayed that the Almighty God would continue to bless him and his family, assuring to be obedient and a good representative of the Irepo local government.
The Deputy Governor however congratulated the beneficiaries on their selection and charged them to be up to the task.
He urged them to carry out their responsibilities with commitment and honesty, stressing the significance of their positions.
While commending the new officers for their disciplined behavior, the Deputy Governor cautioned them not to allow the discipline they had imbibed to steer them off corrupt practices.
