These seeds you toss in dustbin have serious health benefits:

*1. Melon Seeds (Egusi Melon Cousin)
*What it does: Packed with magnesium, zinc, and healthy fats. Good for heart, blood sugar, and male fertility.


*How to use: Dry them, roast lightly, grind to powder. Add to soup or chew a handful as snack.
*Pro tip: Don’t swallow whole — grind or chew well so your body can absorb it.

*2. Pawpaw Seeds


*What it does: Natural dewormer. Fights bacteria, helps liver and digestion. Also good for kidney.
*How to use: Dry 1 spoon of seeds, grind, and add to smoothies or take with honey. Bitter sha, but it works.
*Note: Pregnant women should avoid it.

*3. Orange/Lemon Seeds

*What it does: Contain antioxidants and limonene. Helps boost immunity and fights inflammation.
*How to use: Dry them, grind to fine powder. Add small amount to tea or blend with your fruit juice.
*Pro tip: Don’t use too much, it’s bitter and strong.

*4. Tomato Seeds


*What it does: Has lycopene and fiber. Good for prostate health and reduces inflammation.
*How to use: When making stew, don’t sieve them out completely. Or dry, grind, and add to soups/sauces.
*Pro tip: Cooked tomato seeds release more lycopene than raw.

*5. Pumpkin Seeds (Ugu)*

*What it does: Loaded with zinc, magnesium, and protein. Helps sleep, blood sugar, and hair growth.
*How to use: Roast and eat as snack, or grind and add to Egusi soup for extra thickness.
*Pro tip: Soak overnight before roasting to remove anti-nutrients.
