As political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2026 Local Government Elections, a prominent grassroots mobilizer, community advocate and leading aspirant for the position of Chairman Ibadan North West Local Government, Kamal Ganiyu, popularly known as Greatkamal Ka Ju E, has called on residents to embrace continuity in governance to sustain the pace of development at the grassroots level.
Speaking on the importance of local government administration, Greatkamal emphasized that meaningful development can only be achieved when ongoing projects, people-oriented policies, and community-focused initiatives are allowed to continue without unnecessary disruptions.
According to him, local governments remain the closest tier of government to the people and play a critical role in delivering essential services, promoting community development, and addressing the immediate needs of citizens.
He noted that continuity in leadership and developmental policies has historically helped communities maintain progress and achieve long-term goals.
