Former Chairman of Oyo State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA), Hon. Najeem Omirinde, has extended warm felicitations to Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja on the historic occasion of his 81 birthday celebration and coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Omirinde described Senator Ladoja as a rare statesman, visionary leader, and a unifying figure whose life has been dedicated to service, humility, and the upliftment of the Yoruba race.
He noted that the convergence of the milestone 80th birthday with the ancient city’s traditional coronation marks a divine honor and a special testament to Senator Ladoja’s enduring contributions to Ibadan, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.
“Senator Rashidi Ladoja is not only a former governor of Oyo State but also a pride of Ibadanland whose legacies continue to inspire hope and confidence in leadership. His enthronement as the 44th Olubadan is a blessing to our people and a strengthening of our traditional institution,” Omirinde stated.
The former RUWASSA boss prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, and sound health for the new Olubadan, expressing optimism that his reign will usher in peace, unity, and greater prosperity for Ibadanland.
