“The development in kwara state is very troubling and should be tackled decisively”.
The oyo state Commissioner for Information Prince Dotun Oyelade said this in an interview with the Nigerian Tribune correspondent Soji Ajibola over the massacre at Ifelodun local government in neighbouring Kwara state over the weekend.
According to the Commissioner, ‘The good news for our people in oyo state is that this administration has been very proactive in matters of security.

It has 181 vehicles and 450 motorcycles and over 2, 500 staff, the largest in the Southwest.
The state Executive Council led by Gov Seyi Makinde has also approved the procurement of two aircrafts manned with surveillance modern equipment to assist Amotekun in it’s efforts to monitor the movements and activities of terrorists and illegal miners and continue to protect lives and properties of oyo state citizens
