Former Chairman of the Oyo State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (OYO-RUWASSA), Hon. Najeem Omirinde, has sent an Easter message to the Christian faithful in Saki and across Oyo State, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ and urging unity, love, and peaceful coexistence among all residents.
In his Easter goodwill message, Hon. Omirinde emphasized the significance of the season, calling on Christians to reflect on the virtues of sacrifice, hope, and renewal that Easter symbolizes. He praised the Christian community for their contributions to the growth and development of Saki and Oyo State at large.
“As we celebrate this sacred season of Easter, I join our Christian brothers and sisters in Saki and across Oyo State to rejoice in the triumph of life over death, light over darkness, and hope over despair,”Hon. Omirinde stated. “This season reminds us of the power of faith, love, and sacrifice, values that should guide our interactions as a people, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.”
He further encouraged Nigerians to embrace peace, tolerance, and compassion, especially in challenging times, and called for continued prayers for the prosperity of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
Hon. Omirinde also commended the efforts of religious and community leaders in fostering harmony and urged citizens to support government initiatives aimed at improving welfare and infrastructure in the state.
“May the joy and blessings of Easter fill your homes with happiness and prosperity. Let us continue to work together in unity for the progress of Saki and Oyo State. Happy Easter to you all!” he concluded.
