Honourable Ayoola Makanjuola Joe, aka Makenzie, Caretaker Chairman ATISBO South LCDA, Ago Are, says his Administration will accord necessary priority and due attention to road development in the Council Area to boost Socio- economic activities in the Area

Hon. Ayoola Makanjuola Joe, stated this on Thursday, 9th April,2020 in Ago Are while inspecting the Ongoing grading and rehabilitation of roads at Oke Sunnah Area off Ofiki road and Irawo road respectively

Hon. Ayoola said the grading and rehabilitation of bad road was germane to the people, adding that his Administration would take all necessary steps to ensure that every Community in ATISBO South LCDA Ago Are had a good road to ensure easy movement of people, goods and services, especially farm produce from rural areas to urban areas.

Earlier today, the Ifelodun Ago Are Parapo, the Socio-Cultural Development Organisation of Ago Are Sons and Daughters (Home and Abroad) under the Chairmanship of Mr. Amuzat Azeez and Secretaryship of Mr. Kola Oguntola commended the achievements of the present administration in the State and Council Area and prayed for its success in the task ahead.

Chief Adedeji Adesola, Baale Sando of Ago Are who spoke on behalf of the Association, however, called for more grading and rehabilitation of roads particularly inter- town and village roads to ensure transportation of goods and services and boost their commercial activities. He also requested for speedy action on the proposed relocation of Cattle Market (Kraal) now in the heart of the town and possing threat and danger to community.

In his remarks, Hon. Ayoola Makanjuola Joe noted that his Administration has drawn Master Plan of the Agenda to be followed to make life meaningful to the good people of the Council Area. He however, stated that what is incapacitated his Administration presently is paucity of fund and promised that as soon as the State Government releases allocation, work starts earnestly.
