The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Bayo Lawal, has extended warm birthday felicitations to the President-General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Sulaimon Ajeniyi Ajewole, describing him as a distinguished son of Ibadanland and a committed leader whose contributions continue to strengthen the unity and development of the ancient city.
In a congratulatory message released to mark the birthday of the CCII President-General, the Deputy Governor lauded Barrister Ajewole for his exemplary leadership, dedication to community service, and steadfast commitment to the preservation of the cultural heritage and collective interests of Ibadan indigenes.
Barrister Lawal noted that since assuming office as President-General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, Barrister Ajewole has demonstrated remarkable administrative ability, fostering harmony among the various affiliate clubs and associations under the umbrella of the council while promoting initiatives aimed at the socio-economic advancement of Ibadanland.

The Deputy Governor further commended Barrister Ajewole’s passion for unity, cultural promotion, and community development, stressing that the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes under his leadership has continued to play a pivotal role in mobilizing Ibadan sons and daughters at home and in the diaspora toward the progress of the city.
According to him, the contributions of the CCII President-General have significantly complemented the efforts of the administration of Seyi Makinde in sustaining peace, promoting development, and strengthening collaboration between the government and traditional community institutions.
