Those engaging in hasty political moves ahead of 2027 must understand one thing clearly: Oyo people now vote with memory, evidence and conviction. They will not trade tested progress for uncertainty. They will not abandon a working system for trial-and-error politics.

The Makinde administration has laid a solid foundation—financial discipline, institutional strength and inclusive development. The next administration must rise from this same philosophy of people-centred governance, not from personal ambition or political shortcuts.
