The Aare Musulumi of Yoruba Land, Edo and Delta States, His Eminence, Alhaji (Dr.) Dawud Makanjuola Akinola, has extended his warm congratulations to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE, on the occasion of his birthday, December 25.
In a personal goodwill message, the Aare Musulumi described Governor Makinde as a leader whose style of governance reflects vision, inclusiveness, and commitment to the welfare of the people of Oyo State.
He commended the Governor for his efforts in promoting peaceful coexistence, infrastructural development, and policies aimed at improving the quality of life of residents across the state.
While congratulating the Governor, the Aare Musulumi gently admonished him to continue to place the interest and welfare of the people above all other considerations, noting that leadership is a sacred trust that must always be exercised with fairness, compassion, and accountability.
He urged the Governor to remain steadfast in listening to the yearnings of the people, especially the vulnerable, and to continue strengthening policies that promote unity, justice, and sustainable development in Oyo State.
“As you celebrate your birthday, I pray that Almighty Allah grants you long life, sound health, wisdom, and renewed strength to continue serving humanity and the people of Oyo State with fear of God and sincerity of purpose,” he added.
The Aare Musulumi concluded by wishing Governor Seyi Makinde a peaceful birthday celebration and many more years of purposeful leadership and service.
