Stakeholders and leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Saki West Local Government Area gathered on Sunday to celebrate Barr. Sarafadeen Lateef, popularly known as Onijo, following his induction into the International Peace Institute and the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators.
The Saki West PDP, while organizing a reception in his honor at digital hall, recognized him as a proud and committed party member.
Barr. Onijo was inducted into the Global Peace Hall of Fame as a Distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Global Peace and Conflict Management and certified as a member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators.
In a resounding acknowledgement of his unwavering commitment to fostering peace and resolving conflicts, the Institute of Global Peace and Conflict Management conferred the prestigious Global Peace Hall of Fame Distinguished Fellowship on him.

Speaking at the reception, the chairman of the occasion, Hon. Adetunji Rafiu Adekunle, chairman of the Oyo State Pension Board, eulogized Barr. Onijo, describing him as industrious and dedicated, and prayed that Allah grant him continued success and progress.
Also in his brief remarks, Hon. Niyi Adebisi, the Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, emphasized that the “cord that connects us together is PDP.”
