His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, was among the distinguished personalities who attended the wedding Fatiha of Abubakar Sule Lamido, son of former Jigawa State Governor and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alhaji Sule Lamido.
Barr. Lawal represented the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, at the colourful ceremony, which took place at the Sheikh Ahmada Tijani Mosque, Kofar Gidan Kaya, Kano.
The event attracted dignitaries from all walks of life, including former governors, serving and former senators, ministers, diplomats, traditional rulers, religious leaders, captains of industry, and prominent politicians.

The groom, Abubakar Sule Lamido, was joined in marriage to his bride, Hauwa Abdullahi Umar, amidst prayers, goodwill messages, and celebrations from family, friends, and well-wishers.
