The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 inaugurate its 110 member National Convention Organising Committee (NCOC) to oversee preparations for the party’s elective national convention slated for November 15 – 16, 2025 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The inauguration is expected to hold by 12 noon at the NEC Hall, Wadata Plaza, PDP national secretariat, Abuja.
The PDP had named Governor Ahmadu Fintiri (Adamawa) as Chairman of the Main Committee, with Governor Ademola Adeleke (Osun) as Vice-Chairman and Governor Peter Mbah (Enugu) as Secretary.
Ahead of Tuesday’s inauguration, Oyo state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide (Odidiomo) member representing Ibadan North-West/South-West federal constituency of Oyo state at the House of Representatives and other ranking leaders of the party are among the 110 member committee to be unveiled.
The National Convention Organizing Committee is expected to carry out accreditation of delegates to the convention, drive logistics, manage delegates, venue and security co-ordination, ensure adequate media/publicity for the convention and ensure legal compliance among other functions during the two day exercise in Ibadan.
