The Ywom Traditional Council, Garkawa District of Mikang Local Government Area, Plateau State under the leadership of His Royal Highness AIG Bashir E. Makama Dabup III (psc+Rtd), the Mwo-Ywom of Garkawa, has expressed its heartfelt condolences to Prince Cletus Ilobanafor, Managing Director and CEO of CEOAFRICA, following the passing of his father, Chief Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafor, who passed away on June 22, 2025.

In a condolence letter dated July 3, 2025, the Council conveyed their deep sadness over the loss, stating, On behalf of the Ywom Traditional Council and the entire Ywom Nation, I extend my deepest condolences to you and your family on the passing of your beloved patriarch, Chief Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafor, who was called to eternal rest on June 22, 2025.
The letter highlighted Chief Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafors legacy, noting that he was undoubtedly a man of great dignity, wisdom, and moral strength. The Council acknowledged that his legacy as a father, leader, and elder statesman will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched both directly and indirectly. His contributions to family, community, and society at large remain indelible.
Recognizing the difficult time for the Ilobanafor family, the Ywom Traditional Council prayed for comfort and strength, stating, In this moment of deep grief, we pray that God Almighty consoles you, your immediate and extended family, and indeed the entire community. May you find strength in the values he upheld and the love he so generously gave.
The Council also offered a prayer for the soul of Chief Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafor, asking that the angels of God will lead him into the bosom of Abraham, where peace is eternal. They concluded the letter with a message of solidarity, expressing, May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in perfect peace. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies.

The Ywom Traditional Council stands in solidarity with Prince Cletus Ilobanafor and his family during this time of mourning, honoring the memory of a respected patriarch and leader.
