In celebration of Eid al-Adha, Prince Deji Ola has mobilized a team of volunteers for a humanitarian initiative tagged Clothe the Needy. The project is aimed at supporting underprivileged individuals by providing clothing and other essential items to help them celebrate the season with dignity.

Once again, through this impactful initiative, the team reached out to vulnerable members of society across various communities in the historic city of Ibadan, recording over 500 beneficiaries.

One of the beneficiaries, who wished to remain anonymous, expressed gratitude for the timely gesture. She lauded the effort as deeply thoughtful, especially during such a significant festive period, and urged other well-meaning individuals in the state to follow suit.

“People are going through difficult times,” she said. “The best way to uplift them is by offering help through voluntary donations and acts of kindness.”

Ola extended heartfelt appreciation to his friends, volunteers, donors, and supporters for their unwavering commitment and generosity.

He noted that Friends of Deji Ola, the group behind the initiative, remains dedicated to life-changing projects that directly impact everyday citizens across Oyo State and Nigeria. He emphasized that this commitment has been central to their mission since 2018.

“In the past seven years, we have touched countless lives through various initiatives such as Random Acts of Kindness, Clothe the Needy, One Book, One Pen, Free Tutorials, Food Bank, Capacity Building, Environmental Awareness, and Sanitation Drives,” Ola said.

He also commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his visionary leadership, which he believes has fostered a supportive environment for youth engagement and community development in the state.

Ola revealed that the second phase of the Clothe the Needy project is scheduled to launch in the coming months.

Several volunteers who participated in the distribution exercise reiterated their dedication to contributing positively to the development of Oyo State. It is worth noting that the group also partnered with the Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority in a recent community service project. I’ll
