Former Chairman of the Oyo State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (OyoRUWASSA), Hon. Najeem Omirinde, has joined other dignitaries and well-wishers in celebrating the 6th anniversary of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration.
In a statement released today, Hon. Omirinde commended the governor for his visionary leadership and remarkable achievements in transforming Oyo State. He highlighted the administration’s strides in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and rural development, noting that Governor Makinde’s policies have significantly improved the lives of residents across the state.
“Governor Seyi Makinde has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the development of Oyo State,” Omirinde stated. “His focus on sustainable projects, particularly in rural water supply and sanitation during my tenure at OyoRUWASSA, has had a lasting impact on communities. Today, we celebrate his dedication and the progress our state has made under his leadership.”

The former chairman also praised the governor’s inclusive governance style, which has fostered unity and economic growth. He expressed optimism that the next phase of the administration’s roadmap for sustainable development would bring even greater benefits to the people of Oyo State.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, various events, including community engagements and project inspections, have been organized across the state to showcase the achievements of the Makinde-led government.
