The Oyo State Deputy Governor, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, on Wednesday, led a high-powered delegation to the residence of Col. Oladipo James Ajibola, Director-General of Operation Burst, in Oluyole Extension, Ibadan, to commiserate with him over the sudden death of his wife, Mrs. Oladipo Jumoke Sijuwade.
The delegation, which included the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Olanike Adeyemo; Commissioner for Works and Transport, Mogbonjubola Jagaban; Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oluwaserimi Ajetunmobi; and the Special Adviser on Homeland Securuty, Rtd Assistant Comptroller of Immigration, Mr. Segun Adegoke, condoled with the family, praying for the eternal rest of the deceased and strength for the bereaved family to bear the loss.
The deceased was pronounced dead after a brief illness, as a large crowd of sympathizers, security operatives, and others gathered at Ajibola’s residence to pay their respects.
The Oyo Government delegation expressed sympathy with the family, praying that God grants them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
