The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, has congratulated Engr Yunus Gbadamosi Badmos, also known as HIMUS, on his recent appointment as Chairman of Muslim Community, Saki.
In his congratulatory message on Friday, the Deputy Governor described the appointment as a well-deserved one considering the antecedents of Alhaji Gbadamosi in the propagation of Islam.
He urged the former chairman of the Saki West local government to use his new role to promote interreligious cooperation throughout the state as well as unity, peace, and development.
The Deputy Governor equally expressed confidence in Alhaji Gbadamosi’s ability to make a positive impact through his sermons and other religious engagements.
He, urged Muslims in Saki land to support him while commending the Saki Muslim community’s leadership for the appointment.
