The former First Lady of Oyo State, Chief Mrs. Olayinka Mutiat Ladoja, has expressed sadness over the death of Hon. Temilola Adibi, a prominent Ogbomoso-born politician and former member of the House of Representatives. Adibi passed away following a protracted illness.
In her tribute, Mrs. Ladoja described his death as both shocking and painful, emphasizing that Adibi was a peaceful politician and a respectful individual who epitomized the Omoluwabi ethos. She revealed that his sterling qualities earned him recognition as one of the three candidates shortlisted to be the running mate of Governor Rashidi Ladoja in the 2003 guber elections.
Mrs. Ladoja prayed for the repose of his soul and asked God to grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Hon. Adibi was a highly respected chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and was widely admired for his impactful contributions to governance and community development.
Over the years, he served in several key capacities, including Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, Chairman of the Oyo State Sports Council, and Director-General of the Oyo State Signage and Advertisement Agency (OYSAA).
His passing marks the end of an illustrious political career that left an indelible mark on Ogbomoso and Oyo State at large.
