The Director General of the Nigeria-China Strategic Partnership (NCSP) Joseph Tegbe, visited the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he was received by Du Xiaohui,
the Director-General of the Department of African Affairs and other officials of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Discussions highlighted the deepening strategic ties between the two nations, focusing on economic, cultural, and diplomatic collaboration. The meeting also reviewed progress on the partnership since the appointment of the Director-General, highlighting various areas such as cultural exchange, economic challenges, and opportunities for bilateral cooperation.
The delegation identified potential areas for collaboration, including modern agricultural technologies, live markets, and large-scale industrial chain development. Beijing’s vibrant economy was mentioned as a model for Nigeria, with opportunities for the Nigerian delegation to explore further.
