Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Friday, launched Southwest CNG buses, facilitated by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Oyo State Council, in collaboration with the Central Working Committee (CWC) of the union.

During the unveiling of 10 buses at the NLC’s secretariat, Agodi GRA, Governor Makinde, who was represented by his Deputy, Barr. Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, stated that the CNG buses would improve transportation in the state.

He added that the launch of the CNG buses in Oyo State iis a significant step in the right direction for the state’s workers and residents.

While appreciating the Oyo NLC for collaborating with Governor Seyi Makinde for the smooth running of the state, Barr. Lawal disclosed that Oyo state government had equally provided buses to ease the movement of workers and residents especially during this economic hardship through SAfER.
