The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Bayo Lawal, has commiserated with Mr. Demola Babalola, Chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), following the death of his mother, Alhaja Wulemotu Aweni Babalola.
Alhaja Babalola, the matriarch of the Babalola family, passed away a few days ago, leaving a legacy of service and dedication to her community.
In his condolence message, Barr. Lawal praised the late Alhaja Babalola’s dedication to family and society, describing her as a mother who devoted her life to humanity and community service. He urged the bereaved family to find comfort in the remarkable life their mother lived and the indelible impact she made on those around her.
“I mourn the exit of the matriarch of the Babalola family and pray that Allah grants her a peaceful paradise. We know that death is the ultimate end of all mortals; I, therefore, encourage the children of mama and all who mourn her demise to be encouraged by the good legacies she left behind,” Barr. Lawal stated.
The Deputy Governor further offered prayers for the repose of Alhaja Babalola’ s soul and wished the family strength and fortitude to navigate this period of loss.
