Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and member representing Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West federal constituency of Oyo state at the House of Representatives, has commended Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde for putting in place a state-of-the-art office for the PDP in the Southwest, named after the immediate past chairman of the party in the zone, Chief Soji Adagunodo.
Hon. Olajide, speaking through his Special Adviser, Media and Public Affairs, Tolu Mustapha, praised Governor Makinde’s visionary leadership, which he said has transformed the political environment in Oyo State.
He said, “Governor Makinde’s uncommon foresight has institutionalized politics in a way that promotes unity and effectiveness among party members and described the magnificent party house, billed for commissioning tomorrow, Saturday, 2nd November, 2024, as a significant milestone in party politics across the south-west zone of the country, noting that it is the first time a political party will have a permanent edifice of this caliber at the zonal level in the Southwest.
Olajide, welcoming the national leadership of the PDP to Ibadan, the political headquarters of South west politics, expressed his gratitude to stakeholders across the party, for the love and cohesion that has propelled the party to this achievement and emphasized that the new office would enhance the party’s operational efficiency and strengthen its presence in the region.
The two term federal lawmaker further urged all members to embrace the opportunities this new office presents, calling for unity and collaboration to further the PDP’s objectives in the Southwest.
“This office is not just a building; it is a symbol of our collective aspirations and commitment to serve the people of south-west, as a formidable force to reckon within political circles,” he added.
