He said: “When we were in dire need of somebody to lead us after resuscitating the old students association, we unanimously picked Lucas Adekunle as our president. Since then, he had been serving the old students more than 24 hours.
“So, he was up and doing and sacrificed everything for the association. And if we are to record any achievements, we would attribute it to the efforts of late Lucas Adekunle.
“We need to be grateful to God over his life well spent. We must always remember him with prayer. He was a man of many people. And as old students, we were able to see that he had impacted positively in the Ives of many people.
“We are also grateful to the spiritual fathers for their support and we pray that God spare our lives for many more years.
“We want to assure you the family, that in our little ways as our president, we will do anything to support you. And we pray God the Almighty give family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
“May his would rest in peace.”
