The ADP Governorship candidate and former governor of Oyo State has vehemently debunked the fake news being circulated online that he had endorsed Muhammodu Buhari of All Progressives Congress (APC) for today’s Elections.
Alao-Akala described the news as fake in a statement released by one of his media aides, Com. YSO Olaniyi.
According to the press release, “Our attention has been drawn to online publication of media outfits www.opera.com, www.unilagefiwe.com and among others that our principal and governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) adopted President Muhammodu Buhari of APC as the presidential choice of ADP”.
“We wish to appeal to the sensibility of the members of ADP, members of the public and all the Alao-Akala support groups in Oyo State and beyond to disregard such fake news. It is nothing but a fraudulent voyage by the Oyo State APC to use the name of our dear principal to fraudulently garner votes”.
“We want to say categorically the ADP presidential candidate remains Alhaji Y.Y Sanni” said YSO Olaniyi in the release.
