Hon. Adejumobi Samuel Ademola,

Special adviser to the executive governor of Oyo state on legislative matters in commemoration of the governor’s first 100 days in office has described the governor as a servant leader who is leading by practical example.  The vibrant ex lawmaker and majority leader of the Oyo state House of Assembly between 2007 – 2011 stated that governor Makinde is indeed not an opportunist like some past governors and can therefore, be likened to Awolowo and Abraham Lincoln of this era noting that the governor is simply God’s sent at a critical time Oyo state needed redemtion from oppression and tyranny, noting further that governor Makinde has touched on almost all sectors of the economy with physical results in education sector, workers welfare, security, environment, agriculture, health sectore, etc.

While reacting to questions from sunrise bulletin in his office today, the special adviser stated that there is no magic to all the wonders governor Makinde is currently performing in the state than the will-power and desire to end the suffering of the masses and restore the lost glory of Oyo state.

He said “We need to be sincere with ourselves, some of those former governors are political opportunists who got into office without any idea of what to do than the sheer desire to become governor and be addressed as “your excellency” most especially the immediate past administration, they expended their entire tenure on trial and error approach to everything, that was the reason why there was no impact of their policies on the wellbeing of the people, that is exactly why governor Makinde is different from them all and I thank God for the grace to work with him because governor Makinde did a perfect homework and knows exactly why he is the governor, he has designed what he wants to do and how he intends to achieve his economic blueprint without excuses or blame games which the last administration is clearly distinct for, and the beauty of it all is that he carries all of us fully along.”

“Three things that preceed the success of any man are entrenched in what i call the three P’s i.e Plan, Prayers, and Pursue and you will agree with me these three are clearly the secrets of Gov Makinde’s success thus far, the people of Oyo state just need to relax and enjoy the dividends of democracy as they unfold, because the governor is already on a mission to restore our lost glory as a people, that is why you can see for the first time in the history of Oyo state, a sitting governor is making an anti corruption law in the state, until now no governor in the history of Oyo state has ever been bold enough to set up a legal framework for anti corruption fight, they only make noises to witchunt perceived political enemies and to score cheap political scores but governor Makinde  has already sent the anti graft bill to the house of assembly for passage, that is what i call will-power of a committed leader and i am proud to be associated with such a noble man.”
